Archive
Open the memory and click Archive. It disappears from your feed and from assistant recall but nothing is destroyed. To bring it back, choose Archived in the filter menu on Home, open the memory and click Restore. Your assistant cannot read or edit an archived memory — restore it in the app first.
Delete (forget)
Delete in the app, or "forget this memory" through your assistant, erases the memory for good: its content, the facts derived from it, its history and any documents attached to it are removed from the vault and the memory engine. Only an audit record that an erasure happened remains in your Ledger. There is no undo — which is why assistants confirm before forgetting anything you didn't name explicitly. If an assistant erases many memories in a short burst, JustOnce stops it until you confirm.
Only the person who created a memory can archive or delete it.
Which should I use?
Fact changed → correct it (keeps history).
Not relevant now, might be later → archive.
Should never have been stored → delete.
Deleting a memory does not refund allowance for the month it was added. Deleting a memory that was shared into a space removes it for members too.
