Every new account gets a one-time welcome bonus of extra memories — 100 on Free, 1,000 on Plus, 2,500 on Pro — for 90 days. The intended use is importing what your assistants already know about you.
From ChatGPT's memory
In ChatGPT: Settings → Personalization → Memory → Manage. Copy the list (or ask ChatGPT "list everything you remember about me, one fact per line").
Paste it into any connected assistant and say "import these into JustOnce as separate memories". The assistant uses
import_memories, up to 50 items per call, and reports anything skipped.
Importing through ChatGPT or Codex? JustOnce refuses a batch that contains a password, PIN, card, bank or ID number, so leave those out and add them in the app.
From Claude or another assistant
Same idea: ask it to list what it knows about you, then import the list through a connected assistant — or paste it into the Import tool in the app (Settings → Billing → Import your memories → Start import). It splits the text into separate memories and lets you edit or untick any before importing. It also takes a .txt, .md or .json export file.
From a document
Upload a .txt, .csv or .md file on the Documents page (Add document); JustOnce reads it and distils the facts. For PDFs and scans, your assistant does the reading — see Why JustOnce doesn't OCR.
After importing
Skim your feed: fix anything filed oddly by editing it, and delete anything you'd rather not keep. The Import tool spends the welcome bonus first, then your monthly allowance. Other new memories, including imports through an assistant, use your monthly allowance first and draw on the bonus once it runs out.
