Save a document from your assistant

store_document for small files the assistant already holds; a one-time upload link for big originals.

Small files (the assistant has the bytes)

Ask: "Store this receipt in JustOnce with the facts you read." The assistant calls store_document with the file, a transcription of the important content, and optionally a category. It accepts PDF, images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP), Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), .txt and .csv files, up to 25 MB.

Bigger originals (or the assistant only has text)

Ask for an upload link: "Give me a link to upload the original lease." The assistant calls request_upload_link and shows you a URL:

  • the link works once and expires in 15 minutes;

  • the file goes from your browser straight into encrypted storage — it never passes through the model;

  • when it lands, JustOnce distils it (using the facts the assistant supplied) and attaches the file; the assistant confirms with check_upload_link.

Putting it in a shared space

An assistant can ask to put the resulting memories into a shared space, with the file attached. Nothing is shared until you approve it: the assistant shows you a link to app.justonce.ai/confirm/…, and the memories stay private until you approve there. You can also share the memory yourself — see Share a memory (or a document) into a space, and take it back.

Reading a stored document later

Ask "pull up the policy PDF". The assistant fetches it with fetch_document over the authenticated connection — no download links, no shared folders — and every fetch is written to the Ledger.

In ChatGPT and Codex

JustOnce refuses a document whose text holds a password, PIN, card, bank or ID number. A document filed under credentials, identity, health or finance is saved, but it and its file are kept out of ChatGPT and Codex from then on; open it in the app.
