The Upload a file tab in the Add a memory dialog

  1. Open Documents and click Add document (or press n anywhere and choose Upload a file).

  2. Drop a .txt, .csv or .md file onto the box, or click to browse (up to 25 MB each). You can add several at once.

  3. Wait a moment. JustOnce reads the text, distils the facts into one or more memories, and attaches the original file to the primary memory it produced.

The Documents list

The Documents page lists every stored file with the memories it belongs to. Click a memory to see what was extracted; click Download or Open for the original (decrypted for you on the way out).

PDFs, images, Word and Excel

The web uploader accepts text formats only, on purpose: JustOnce runs no OCR. For everything else, your AI assistant does the reading and saves both the facts and the file — see Why JustOnce doesn't OCR and Save a document from your assistant.

Allowance

Documents are metered in pages — 2,000 characters of text each — against the plan of whoever uploaded. Reading, recalling and fetching cost nothing.
