Share
App: open a memory. Under Spaces, pick the space in Add to a space. A space's Owner can also use Add memories on the space's page.
AI tool: "Add everything about our insurance and the mortgage to the Rivera Household space." It searches your vault, then asks to share what it found (
share_memories).
Approving a share your AI tool asked for
Nothing is shared until you say so. Your AI tool gives you a link (app.justonce.ai/confirm/…) that lists exactly which memories would go into which space. Choose Approve to share them or Decline to drop the request. Requests you haven't answered wait on your Access page under Waiting for your approval, and they expire after 24 hours. The same applies when your AI tool stores a document straight into a space.
What a share does
You can share only memories you own, into an open space you belong to. Nothing is copied or moved. The memory stays in your vault; the space gets a link that lets its members read it, including anyone who joins later. Memories already in the space are skipped, not duplicated.
Documents go with the memory
A document is attached to the memory it produced. Share that memory and the file goes with it: members can open it from the space in the app or fetch it through their AI tool, and every fetch is logged. If your AI tool split a long document into several memories, share all of them — members see exactly the memories shared, not the rest of the set.
Take it back
App: open the memory and choose the × (Remove from space) next to the space under Spaces. A space's Owner can also remove memories from the space's page.
AI tool: "Remove the memories about our internal pricing from the Acme space." (
share_memorieswith action unshare). Taking a share back needs no approval and works at once.
The memory's owner or the space's Owner can unshare. The memory stays in the owner's vault. Leaving a space doesn't take your shares with you, so remove what you shared before you leave; afterwards only the Owner can.
Editing shared memories
Owners and Editors can correct a shared memory, in the app or through their AI tool (update_memory). The correction is visible to everyone in the space and keeps history like any other edit, recorded against the person who made it. Viewers read only, and only the memory's owner can erase it.
